Description:

                    Cycas Circinalis is an endemic restricted to the Western Ghats and hilly regions of the southern peninsula, in the states of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and the south of Maharashtra. Cycas circinalis is usually found in fairly dense, seasonally dry scrubby woodlands in hilly areas. The flowers are divided into male and female but only the male flower is used for the medicinal purpose in Ayurvedic. Also, their seeds and stems are in medicinal use.
